Job Description
An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide occupational therapy services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in Parachute, CO, where you will play a vital role in supporting students' diverse needs through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong understanding of IEPs and related documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of therapeutic practices applicable to children
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Implement and monitor individualized therapy programs in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Provide documentation and reports on student progress and outcomes as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student care
