Job Description
Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a contract position focused on providing essential therapeutic services in a K-12 educational setting. This role involves working with students from grades 9 to 12, offering support one day per week during the extended school year.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare, with a focus on pediatric or school-based therapy.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Location: Providence, RI
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
