This position is focused on providing essential therapeutic services to Pre-K students, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive in their educational environment.
Location: Providence, RI
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for Pre-K students.
- Implement therapeutic activities designed to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant field.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with young children, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Location: In Providence, Rhode Island, serving an early childhood school environment.
