Job Description
An opportunity is available for an experienced specialist to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment located in Riverside, CA. This full-time position runs through the school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse needs. This contract is currently for Aug 18 Dec 19, 2025.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in OT or related field
- Valid state OT license
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in school settings
- Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and IEPs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
- Experience with various therapeutic techniques and interventions
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance students' daily functioning
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
