ProCare Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) in Rodeo, CA. This full-time role offers the opportunity to join a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional support and therapy services to students. As an OT, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of students through effective and compassionate occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and comprehensive educational environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Provide training and support to staff and parents on strategies to assist students in achieving their goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus
