Job Description
In a supportive educational environment, professionals will provide essential OT services to students in a K-12 setting. This role is designed for individuals dedicated to enhancing the lives of children through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Implement therapy programs to address a variety of needs, ensuring each child receives appropriate support.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to promote students' overall development.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, maintaining accurate documentation of services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings and engage in constructive communication regarding student progress.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in OT or related field.
- State licensure as an OT.
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
