Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits specialists seeking to make a significant impact in an educational setting. This position is within a K-12 environment, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students across two sites. This contract is for the August 2025 through June 2026 with a pay rate of $53/hr.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
Location: Salinas, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, evaluations, and therapy services to students based on individual needs
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Conduct regular consultations with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Monitor and manage caseload effectively across multiple locations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students overall educational goals
