Job Description

An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment in San Marcos, TX. This contract position runs from July 28th until May 22nd, offering a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
• Prior experience in a school-based setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of K-12 educational policies and regulations
• Effective assessment and intervention planning skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic services to students with diverse needs in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student goals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
