Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with relevant experience in school settings
- Familiarity with K-12 educational frameworks and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Effective organizational skills to manage documentation and therapy plans
Location:
Simla, CO
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other health professionals to support student needs
- Develop and implement therapeutic activities that promote skill development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and progress made
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive support plans
- Ensure compliance with all school policies and state regulations regarding therapy services
