Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with school-based therapy practices

Location: Suffolk, VA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual assessments
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive support for students
• Provide direct therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
