Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and best practices in school therapy
- Commitment to collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Location: Topeka, KS
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of 40-45 K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals in collaboration with educational staff
- Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support overall student wellbeing
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
