An opportunity exists for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in an early childhood setting in Turner, ME. This role focuses on providing essential therapeutic services to a Pre-K caseload, ensuring that each child receives the care and support they need to thrive in their school environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Maine
- Relevant experience in pediatric therapy, particularly in school or early childhood settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures related to therapy services
- Familiarity with various therapy techniques and methodologies

Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students in the Pre-K program
- Implement therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and self-help skills
- Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom

- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students progress and needs
