Job Description
An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This position is designed for individuals dedicated to enhancing the learning experiences and developmental needs of approximately 45 students across two sites.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy License
- Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other specialists
- Experience managing itinerant caseloads is a plus
- Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes
Location:
Watsonville, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored therapy plans for students.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic goals into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to comprehensive student support.
