Job Description
Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a contract position in an early childhood education setting, specifically focused on providing supportive care to Pre-K students. This role is designed for the 2025-2026 school year and involves working 20 hours per week in Westwood, MA.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience working with children, particularly in a school or early childhood setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with therapy techniques relevant to young children
Location:
Westwood, MA
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of each Pre-K student
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement IEPs
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in a supportive and engaging manner
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
