Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students receiving specialized services.
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by certified staff.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to facilitate learning.
- Monitor and document student progress and challenges.
- Assist with classroom activities and promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in special education or related fields preferred.
- Experience working with students with special needs, particularly those with Autism and Downs Syndrome.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet varied student needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards fostering student growth.
