This position focuses on providing personalized assistance to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working with deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) populations, particularly in educational settings
- Completion of an Associates degree or higher
- Alternatively, a score of 461 or above on the ETS exam
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, facilitating their learning and communication
- Collaborate with educators and staff to create an accessible and enriching educational experience
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) as needed
- Maintain professional relationships with students, families, and staff
- Support students in developing social and academic skills
