- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience in one-on-one teaching or support

- Previous experience working with middle school-aged students preferred

Responsibilities:
- Assist and support a single student under the direction of the special education teacher
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Utilize ASL to facilitate communication and learning
- Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure the students success
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior as needed
