Responsibilities:
- Support and assist one middle school-aged student under the guidance of a special education teacher.
- Implement individualized instruction and adapt learning materials as needed.
- Utilize fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) to facilitate communication and learning.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement behavior intervention strategies.
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes as directed by the supervising teacher.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Experience or education in working with students with special needs.
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
