Qualifications:
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working with Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) populations
- Associates degree or higher, or a score of 461+ on the ETS exam
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
Location:
Silverdale, WA
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators to facilitate effective communication
- Support students during classroom activities and transitions
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and support provided
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
