The position is based in Long Beach, CA, and requires a commitment to onsite therapy sessions three times a week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques suitable for diverse age groups
Location: Long Beach, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy assessments and services to a caseload of approximately 16 students
- Collaborate with educators and other healthcare professionals to create cohesive support plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Conduct therapy sessions in accordance with IEP requirements
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
