Physical Therapist - School Setting in Louisburg, NC

A professional opportunity is available for a skilled practitioner to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Louisburg, NC, and focuses on providing targeted services to a small caseload of students.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure in physical therapy
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide direct services and support to students with diverse needs
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant therapeutic practices

Location: Louisburg, NC

Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide therapy services to a caseload of four students, three of whom require direct services
• Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapeutic outcomes
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and faculty regarding therapy goals and progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
