Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Location: Espaola, NM K-12 School Environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic services to students under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student developments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
