Job Description
A licensed professional is sought for a full-time position in Albany, NY. This role involves working with young learners in an early childhood setting, focusing on providing behavior analysis support to students aged 3-5. The contract spans 12 months, offering a dynamic and engaging environment from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an additional six weeks for summer school.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children, particularly in preschool settings
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff
- BCBA supervision will be provided
Location:
- Albany, NY, with a focus on integrated and self-contained preschool classrooms
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
- Collect and document data on student progress and behaviors
- Support classroom teachers in promoting positive behavioral expectations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding behavioral strategies
- Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
