Job Description
A role is available for a skilled Registered Behavior Technician in a K-12 school setting located in Fremont, CA. This position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to supporting students through the application of behavior analytic techniques in an educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with students with special needs, particularly in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Patience and adaptability in managing diverse student behaviors
Location:
- Fremont, CA
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavioral changes
- Provide one-on-one support to students, encouraging positive behaviors and social skills
- Collaborate with educational staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required
