Exciting opportunity for RBTs to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Midland, MI, and focuses primarily on serving the needs of the elementary population. With a commitment to fostering positive learning environments, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention plans and assisting students in achieving their educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles
- Patience and empathy to support diverse student needs
Location: Midland, MI
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed by supervisory staff
- Provide direct support to students experiencing behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
