Seeking a dedicated professional with expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide vital support within an elementary school setting in Portsmouth, NH. Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
- Commitment to maintaining student dignity and promoting positive behavior
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and document data on student progress and behavioral trends
- Assist students in developing social and emotional skills through guided interactions
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Conduct one-on-one and small group sessions focused on skill acquisition
