Job Description
A dedicated professional is sought for a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position in Saratoga Springs, NY. This role is critical in providing support and guidance within early childhood settings, focusing on the developmental needs of students aged 3-5. The contract runs for 12 months, offering a structured schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, inclusive of a six-week summer school commitment.
Qualifications:
- RBT certification is required
- Previous experience working with young children, particularly in integrated or self-contained classrooms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of behavioral analysis techniques and their application in educational settings
Location:
Saratoga Springs, NY
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide direct support to students, facilitating learning and social interactions
- Collect and document data on student progress and behavior
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
