Seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide vital support in a K-12 educational setting located in Somersworth, NH. This position is focused on delivering high-quality behavioral interventions and guidance to students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the extended school year (ESY). The role is designed for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to student development and well-being
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral support to students in accordance with RBT standards
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed by supervising behavior analysts
- Collect and document data on student progress and behavioral outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
