Job Description
Bremerton School District is in need of a talented and compassionate School Nurse(RN). The School Nurse (RN) provides health services to students and staff promoting health and safety while ensuring compliance with state and district policies. The RN plays a crucial role in managing student health needs, developing care plans, administering medications, and supporting the overall well-being of students to enhance their academic success.

Interview Process:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington and holdsan unrestricted license
- Certified in CPR or BLS (or obtain in the first 30 days)
- Possess a valid WA State drivers license
- Must pass WA State fingerprint requirements
- Knowledge of specialized medical equipment (feeding tubes, pumps, etc
RECOMMENDATIONS
a) B.S.N. or Registered Nurse with a bachelors degree in a related discipline.
b) Minimum of one (1) year experience in public health nursing, community healthnursing, school health or pediatric nursing.
c) Previous experience as a nurse in the school setting preferred
