Qualifications:
- Valid LPN/LVN or RN license with school experience
- Proficient in providing care for students with special medical needs
- Experience with G-tube feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to varying environments within the school
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning atmosphere
Location:
- Florissant, MO
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to medically fragile students, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day
- Collaborate with educators and other healthcare professionals to support students needs
- Monitor and manage medical equipment such as G-tubes and ventilators
- Assist students with mobility and daily living activities as required
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of student care
- Float between classrooms and support additional nursing needs as necessary
