About the Position:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a registered nurse (RN-BSN) for a part-time, school-based position in Newbury, VT. This role involves 1:1 care for an elementary student with severe medical needs, requiring 2-3 days per week with 1-2 afternoon hours per day. Position Details:

• Employment Type: Part-time
• Schedule: 2-3 days per week, 1-2 hours per afternoon
• Setting: 1:1 with an elementary student
• Caseload: Severe medical needs
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Newbury, VT
• More details regarding the students condition will be shared during the interview

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized medical care for a student with complex health needs
• Monitor and manage seizures, medication administration, and emergency protocols
• Perform specialized medical procedures, including:
  • Tracheostomy care and suctioning
  • Ventilator support
  • G-tube care and feedings
  • Toileting and hygiene assistance
• Communicate with school staff, teachers, and parents to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Vermont
• BSN required
• Previous experience in pediatrics, home health, or school nursing preferred
• Ability to provide specialized medical care in a school setting
