Location: Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments to students, identifying health needs and planning appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and monitor their effects, maintaining accurate health records for each student.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student health and wellness.
- Provide emergency care as needed and develop health plans for students with chronic conditions.
- Facilitate health education for students and staff, promoting wellness and prevention strategies.
- Manage morning and afternoon bus rides as part of the daily routine, ensuring safe transportation for students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of health policies and regulations pertaining to school nursing.
