Job Overview:

ProCare Therapy is looking for a registered nurse (RN) to provide full-time nursing support in a K-12 school district in Wapato, WA. The school nurse will play a key role in managing student health services, responding to medical needs, and promoting wellness in the school community.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday Friday, full-time hours
• Caseload: K-12 students
• Duties: Provide medical care, monitor chronic conditions, administer medication, and support student well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and respond to student health concerns and medical emergencies
• Administer first aid, medications, and specialized medical procedures
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized student care plans
• Conduct health screenings and refer students for further care as needed
• Monitor students with chronic illnesses to ensure safety and school participation
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health topics, including hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Maintain confidential health records and ensure compliance with school policies and regulations
• Report health and safety concerns to the appropriate authorities

Qualifications:

• Active Washington RN license
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric nursing preferred
• Strong ability to work independently and handle medical situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
