An opportunity exists for a skilled professional specializing in school psychology within a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This position, based in Alexandria, VA, is designed for someone ready to make a meaningful impact on students' mental health and educational outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active VA School Psychologist License
• Previous experience in school psychology
• Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans
• Ability to support social and emotional learning initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in an itinerant role is a plus

Location:

• Alexandria, VA
• Itinerant position across four school sites within two campuses, approximately two miles apart

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
• Support students' mental health and social-emotional learning
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on best practices in mental health
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation as required by the school
