Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (State of Colorado or eligibility for licensure)
- Strong understanding of school-based psychological assessment tools and data interpretation
- Experience with developing and implementing appropriate IEPs and 504 Plans
- Excellent communication, consultation, and rapport-building skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to collaborate flexibly within a multidisciplinary educational environment
- Prior experience preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Interpret assessment results to determine eligibility for specialized services and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Develop intervention strategies with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic and social success
- Facilitate or contribute to team meetings for IEP, 504, and RTI planning
- Support crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Advocate for best practices in school mental health and learning environments
