Job Description
A dynamic educational environment is seeking skilled professionals to provide psychological services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This contract position is set to run from August 25, 2025, to June 12, 2026, with a focus on fostering the well-being and academic success of a small student caseload.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in general psychology duties
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Location:
- Bel Air, MD
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Provide counseling and support services tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective interventions
- Participate in child study meetings and develop appropriate action plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of services provided and student progress
