Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification or licensure in School Psychology.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in special education.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with the ability to conduct 60+ evaluations.
- Knowledge of transition services for students from birth to age 3.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Location:
- Bridgeport, CT
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop tailored educational plans.
- Support the re-evaluation team in assessing student progress and needs.
- Work closely with the transition team to facilitate services for young students.
- Offer guidance and support to community students referred to special education.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment.
