Qualifications:
- Certification as a School Psychologist in New York State
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with students, particularly in middle school settings
- Strong evaluation and assessment skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to collaboration with faculty, staff, and parents
Location:
- Buffalo, NY
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to create supportive learning environments
- Provide consultation services to parents, faculty, and staff regarding student needs and interventions
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Manage a caseload covering around 750 students, ensuring timely and effective service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations and IEP documentation
- Attend district meetings as required, which may involve additional hours
