Job Description
A dynamic educational environment is seeking a skilled professional specializing in psychological services within K-12 settings. This contract position is based in Canton, GA, and entails providing support to students across multiple schools for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning July 25, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in diverse educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultative skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
Canton, GA
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Offer consultation services to educators regarding student needs and interventions.
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide support for students and staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student well-being and academic success.
- Deliver professional development workshops for school staff on mental health and wellness.
