Job Description
This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled professional in student mental health and educational needs. This position is based in Cary, NC, for the 2025-2026 school year, within a K-12 educational environment. This contract will accomodate full and part-time candidates.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- North Carolina education license
- Previous experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Location: Cary, NC (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student needs
- Provide counseling and support services to students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and facilitate discussions
- Offer training and guidance to staff on mental health and behavioral issues
