Job Description

This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled professional in student mental health and educational needs. This position is based in Cary, NC, for the 2025-2026 school year, within a K-12 educational environment. This contract will accomodate full and part-time candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • North Carolina education license
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Location: Cary, NC (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student needs
  • Provide counseling and support services to students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and facilitate discussions
  • Offer training and guidance to staff on mental health and behavioral issues
