Job Description
An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional in the field of school psychology, focused on providing essential evaluations and re-evaluations within an engaging elementary school environment. This contract position is based in Charlotte, NC, and is set to commence on August 26th, running through June 30th of the following year.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student well-being and academic success
- Proficient in data collection and analysis
Location:
Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students requiring psychological assessment
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Develop and implement appropriate behavioral intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and interventions
- Provide consultation to staff regarding psychological best practices
- Work with a varied caseload, typically ranging from 20-30 students
