Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for approximately 80 students
- Develop and implement appropriate testing measures to assess student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to interpret evaluation results
- Provide recommendations for student support and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations and findings
- Provide consultation to staff and parents regarding student mental health and academic support
