Qualifications:
- Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Commitment to fostering a positive school environment and promoting student mental health
Location: Clinton, SC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Provide consultation services to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators.
- Offer short-term counseling and psychological interventions to students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care.
- Deliver professional development workshops to staff on mental health and wellness.
- Engage in crisis intervention and provide support during challenging situations.
