A part-time opportunity exists for a dedicated professional specializing in School Psychology, aimed at supporting students within a K-12 educational environment. This role is focused on delivering essential psychological services and assessments to foster the educational development of all students, particularly those in the Special Education department.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio school psychologist licensure
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially in special education
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of ETR and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Columbus, OH
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and testing for students referred for SPED accommodations
- Collaborate with the Special Education department to develop and implement appropriate interventions
- Participate in ETR and IEP meetings to discuss evaluation results and recommend necessary services
- Support students on the spectrum and others with special education needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and assessments
