Job Description
We are excited to present an opening for professionals skilled in psychological assessment and intervention within an educational setting. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to K-12 students on a single campus, fostering their educational and emotional development. This contract is set to begin August 25, 2025 and conclude June 12, 2026
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware School Psychologist Certification
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and policies
Location:
- Dover, DE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support to students and families
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Deliver professional development workshops for school staff on mental health
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student care
