Job Description
This role is designed for dedicated professionals skilled in providing psychological support within an educational setting. This contract position is situated in Elkton, MD, focusing on a K-12 environment with a commitment to fostering the well-being and academic success. The current period for this contract runs August 25, 2025 - June 12, 2026, with 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid school psychologist certification or license
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of child development and educational psychology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Provide counseling and support tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement behavioral interventions
- Participate in Child Study Team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
- Deliver professional development workshops for staff as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
