Dynamic professionals with expertise in psychological services within educational settings are sought to support K-12 students in Eugene, OR. This contract role for the school year involves providing critical assessments, interventions, and consultations to enhance student well-being and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology
- Valid school psychologist license or certification in Oregon
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrative staff
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
- Provide short-term counseling and psychological interventions.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student needs and progress.
- Ensure compliance with state and district regulations regarding psychological services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed.
