A K-12 educational institution in Florence, CO, is seeking dedicated professionals to provide essential psychological services to students. This part-time role is designed for individuals committed to fostering the mental health and educational development of children from August 16th to June 4th.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
Location:
Florence, Colorado
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties
- Collaborate with school staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations regarding psychological services
