Seeking qualified professionals with expertise in School Psychology for a contract position in Georgetown, KY. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing the educational and emotional well-being of K-12 students through assessment, intervention, and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active School Psychologist license in the state of Kentucky
- Experience working with K-12 students, providing psychological assessments and interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment and engage with diverse populations
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Location:
- Georgetown, KY
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators
- Provide consultative services to teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs
- Deliver short-term counseling and support to students experiencing psychological difficulties
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and serve as a resource for mental health issues
- Develop and facilitate training workshops for staff on psychological best practices
