Job Description
An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to support students' educational and emotional needs in a K-12 school setting. This full-time contract position as a School Psychologist spans the 2025-2026 school year, allowing for meaningful engagement with students from August 13, 2025, to May 27, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Lead professional development workshops for educators on mental health and wellness.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to schoolwide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of educational policies and mental health practices in schools.
